Guided tours for groups

To ensure safety distances, for the entire duration of the health emergency, groups cannot be larger than 30 people.

Groups can book a private guided tour of the Library. The guided tour lasts around 1 hour and a half, and takes place in the “Arcidiacono Pacifico” Hall. It includes an explanation on the millenary history of the Library and the possibility to view some of the precious manuscripts and printed texts from the Library’s collections. In the hall you can also visit the small frescoed chapel depicting scenes from the life of Pacifico and dedicated to Mary “Sedes Sapientiae”.

The cost of the visit is 10 € per person (full admission fee), 5 € up to 14 years of age, free for children under the age of 10. For groups under 10 people, the total cost is €100.

With an additional ticket of 5 € per person, Groups can also add a guided tour of the Museo Canonicale to the visit of the Library.

Tickets must be reserved at least one week in advance.
Days and hours depending on availability.

Please note that the Library will be closed from 10 to 21 August 2020.
