The Biblioteca Capitolare, the ancient Chapter Library of Verona, is open for visitors.
Below you can find the security measures which have to be taken in order to access the Biblioteca Capitolare:
- Before entering, visitors’ body temperature will be measured with a thermo-scanner, and visitors will have to disinfect their hands with a sanitizing gel
- Access to the Library will be allowed only to visitors wearing a safety mask, which must be worn throughout the entire visit.
From 1° december 2022 the indipendent visit will be temporarily suspended for renovation works in the museum spaces.
The Biblioteca Capitolare is only accessible by guided tour.
Guided tours in English can be activated on request, at least 48 hours in advance.

Reduced ticket (11-14 years / ICOM members) € 10
Free admission for children up to 10 years
English tours can be activated on request, subject to availability. We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance. Tours cost €25 per person and are activated with at least 5 participants. For smaller groups, it is still possible to activate the tour by paying the minimum contribution of 125€.

- Independent visit: on Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays, it includes the “Arcidiacono Pacifico” Monumental hall and the adjacent Canonical Museum, housing paintings, archaelogical remains and temporary exhibitions.
- Guided tours
consisting in two parts: the first one traces the history of the Chapter House through the cloisters, the museum and the monumental hall. The second part, in the former consultation rooms, includes a closer look at some original manuscripts and printed texts.
Guided tours must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
