The Biblioteca Capitolare, the ancient Chapter Library of Verona, is open for visitors.
Below you can find the security measures which have to be taken in order to access the Biblioteca Capitolare:
- Before entering, visitors’ body temperature will be measured with a thermo-scanner, and visitors will have to disinfect their hands with a sanitizing gel
- Access to the Library will be allowed only to visitors wearing a safety mask, which must be worn throughout the entire visit.
The Biblioteca Capitolare’s main hall and the adjacent Canonical Museum can be visited autonomally in the following days and hours:
Fridays, 2.30-6 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays: 10:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m., 2:30-6 p.m.
Guided tours in English can be activated on request, at least 48 hours in advance.
In order to allow private events or special guided tours to take place, independent visit are suspended on the following days and times:
October: Saturday 1 all day; Sunday 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Friday 7 from 2.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 15 all day; Saturday 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m;
November: Saturday 12, 19 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Indpendent tour: € 5 (free for children under the age of 10).
Guided tour: Full fare ticket € 20
Reduced ticket (11-14 years / ICOM members) € 10
Free admission for children up to 10 years
English Guided Tours will be activated on request with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 25 participants – or with a minimum contribution of € 100 for smaller groups.
